Estelle Yeung is a rising senior at Johns Hopkins University double majoring in Public Health and International Studies. Her background is in health advocacy and community outreach, and she hopes to pursue a career in health policy. She has experience working as a Patient Advocate at Bayview Medical Center in southeast Baltimore and in AAPI advocacy as Vice President of JHU Inter-Asian Council. She also works as a Research Assistant at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Additionally, Estelle grew up speaking French and is excited to work with Baltimore’s francophone immigrant communities.
At MIMA, she will be working on program outreach with AAPI and francophone immigrant communities. She will be managing the MIMA volunteer program and assisting with health-related emergency management projects as well. Estelle looks forward to working with MIMA this summer!
