As the Volunteer Coordinator, Sigrid manages MIMA's volunteer program, in addition to assisting with community engagement efforts.
Prior to interning at MIMA, Sigrid Edson has worked as a researcher at the Social Sciences Institute, a gender-based violence prevention educator, and an instructor of an after-school civics program at a local middle school. Currently, she is pursuing a bachelor's degree from Johns Hopkins University in Sociology and International Studies with a minor in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Her experience in community engagement comes from past work with Station North Arts District and Central Baltimore Partnership, as well as mutual aid coordination work in both her hometown and Baltimore.
