As the Communications & Engagement Specialist, Victoria works on MIMA's communication channels and engagement with Baltimore’s Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities. In her role, she will strengthen MIMA's efforts around messaging by developing tailored communications and targeted partnerships to further create awareness around COVID-19, as well as MIMA's other communication goals.
Before joining MIMA, Victoria worked with Asian American & Pacific Islander (AA&PI) communities and advocates at the University of Michigan, coordinating university-wide communication and grant efforts. She has also worked in East Baltimore evaluating clinic navigator programs, which is where she first interfaced with Baltimore’s immigrant community. Victoria is pursuing a Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) degree from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health with focuses in health advocacy, health communication, and community-based public health. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Community & Global Public Health from the University of Michigan.
